Pantai Matanggonawe
Pantai Matanggonawe terletak di Desa Matanggonawe, Kecamatan Sawa yang berjarak tempuh sejauh 68 km melalui jalur darat lintas Sulawesi yang menghubungkan Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara dengan Sulawesi Tengah selama 1,5 jam dari Kota Kendari, Ibukota Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Atau berkisar 70 km dari Kota Wanggudu, Ibukota Kabupaten Konawe Utara.
Tempat ini menjadi destinasi wisata pantai yang pertama kali dijumpai saat berkunjung ke Konawe Utara. Obyek wisata ini merupakan gugusan pantai yang sangat panjang dengan hamparan pasir putih yang luas membentang sehingga memberikan kesan tersendiri bagi wisatawan yang menyusurinya.
Di pantai inilah juga pengunjung dapat melihat sunrise (matahari terbit) sambil melakukan berbagai aktivitas, seperti bermain, berjemur dan memancing. Terasa lebih menyenangkan bila dilanjutkan dengan menikmati gurihnya ikan bakar dan segarnya es kelapa muda khas Sawa Beach. Berbagai fasilitaspun tersedia seperti sarana penginapan berupa cottage, restoran, banana boat, skyjet hingga motor pantai ATV.
Sarana Pendukung
Destinasi Wisata Pantai Matanggonawe dapat ditempuh melalui jalur darat dengan menggunakan kendaraan (mobil dan motor) atau menggunakan kapal motor dan speed-boat dari pelabuhan Kendari. kondisi jalan pada umumnya beraspal dan baik, melintasi jalur Trans Sulawesi yang menghubungkan Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara dan Sulawesi Tengah.
Di tempat ini pengunjung dan wisatawan dapat menginap di Sawa Beach Resort (Resor Pengelola Destinasi Wisata Pantai Matanggonawe) dengan tarif yang terjangkau. Resor yang terdiri dari 10 kamar dengan tipe deluxe room, twin room, dan family suite. Juga terdapat Restoran yang menyajikan beraneka ragam sajian kuliner; Water sport yang terdiri dari jetski, banana boat, segway dan ATV. Sawa Beach Resort juga memiliki fasilitas Trip to Labengki Island.
Matanggonawe Beach
Matanggonawe Beach is located in Matanggonawe Village of Sawa District within the travel as far as 68 km by road, through Trans- Sulawesi Highway connecting Southeast Sulawesi and Central Sulawesi for about 1.5 hours from Kendari City, the capital of Southeast Sulawesi Province; or about 70 km from Wanggudu City, the capital of North Konawe Regency.
The place becomes a coastal tourism destination which is first encountered during a visit to North Konawe. The tourism object is a cluster of very long beach with white sand of vast stretches that give the impression for tourists who go along the site.
On the beach visitors can also see sunrise while performing a variety of activities, such as playing, sunbathing and fishing. It feels more fun when followed by enjoying the typical savory grilled fish and fresh coconut ice of Sawa Beach. Various facilities also available such as lodging facilities (cottages), restaurants, banana boats, jet-ski, ATV beach motor, etc.
Support Facilities
Matanggonawe Coastal Tourism Destination can be reached by road using vehicles (cars and motorcycles) or using motor boats and speed-boat from Kendari Seaport. The condition of roads are paved and well in general, across the line of the Trans Sulawesi connecting Provinces of Southeast and Central Sulawesi.
In the place, visitors and tourists can stay at Sawa Beach Resort (a resort managed by Matanggonawe Coastal Tourism Destination) at an affordable rate. The resort consists of 10 rooms with the types of deluxe, twin and family suite rooms. There is also a restaurant that serves a wide range of culinary offerings; Water sports consist of jet-ski, banana boat, seaway and ATV. Sawa Beach Resort also features “Trip to Labengki Island”.
